General Information

Phu Quoc resorts, Tropical Resort Phu QuocThe Tropicana Resort, Phu Quoc is situated in front of the white sands of Long beach. This beachfront Vietnamese style resort, is spread out in coconut palm gardens and faces a peaceful beach, offering a variety of diving activities. Rooms are native style, thatched roof bungalows, each with a terrace. The open terrace restaurant is an ideal place to watch the impressive sunsets.

The Tropicana Resort in Phu Quoc welcomes you to its peaceful and exquisite resort on Long Beach Phu Quoc Island. Here you will find the tranquility you have been looking for. Our guests want peace and quiet and they find it here. No music is played and no children running around.

The restaurant serves delicious Vietnamese and western food, garden, grounds and rooms are well maintained. We can arrange professional fishing trips as well as snorkeling, scuba and night cuttle fishing trips. Our staff is friendly and professionally trained. English is spoken as well.

Location:

Daily flights connect from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc Domestic Aiport then it is approximately 15 minutes drive to the Tropicana Resort. Alternatively high speed boats ply daily between Rach Gia and An Thoi in the South ( journey time approximatly 2.5 hours. Up to 4 boats a day) Ha Tien and An Thoi in the South (journey time approximatly 1.5 hours, normally 1 boat a day) then it is 40 minutes by bus from An Thoi Ferry Station to the Tropicana Resort Phu Quoc. Boat journeys are subject to weather conditions and short notice changes or cancellations.

The 6 rooms and 9 bungalows are spacious and attractively appointed in a way that seems to fit in splendidly with the islands ambiance. The larger beachside bungalows are a sheer delight, with thatched ceilings that stretch to the sky, comfortable rattan furnishings and private patios overlooking the coconut-lined beach. The rooms are currently being fitted with hot water and air conditioning, but it hardly seems worth it.
  • Garden View Bungalows are fan cooled, located in the gardens. They are fitted with a double bed only. 2 single beds are unavailable. Bathrooms have a shower only.
  • Superior Garden View Bungalows have air conditioning, and a garden view terrace. They are fitted with a double bed or 2 single beds. Bathrooms have a shower only.
  • Beachfront Sea View Bungalows have air conditioning, and are located on the beachfront with a sea view terrace. They are fitted with a double bed and a single bed. Bathrooms have a shower only.
  • Family Suite Garden View Bungalows have air conditioning, and are fitted with 2 bedrooms. Both are fitted with a double bed only. Bathrooms have a shower only. They are suitable for a 4- 5 persons Extra person charges may apply.

  • High season surcharge (from Oct. to Mar.) $   will be more added per room/night.
  • Children up to 12 years old without extra bed are free of charge.
  • Any amendment or cancellation made 3 days prior to check-in date will not be charged. Deposit for at least one night might be required to guarantee your reservation at that point of time.
  • Add USD 20 more for an extra bed.
  • Check-in time at 14:00 or sooner, Check-out time at 12:00.
  • Late check-out: 12:00 - 18:00 is subject to 50% room change for 1 night staying. After 18:00, full night charge is applied.
  • Reserved room will be held until 18:00 on the arrival date, unless guarantee by credit card or special arrangement are made.
